Selection of Target Industries of Economic Zone: Based on the economic judgment considering of the regional

situation such as labor, land price, market, and traffic conditions, we will select industries that have a high effect of regional employment and income creation, a high relevance of front back industry, the high potential of future growth, and low pollution; and determine the kind, scale, and period of businesses to be attracted considering of regional and corporate aspects. This chapter classifies industrial location requirements by businesses and regions.

In location conditions by businesses, the textile industry can be located in any place that has good labor and water conditions, but the garment industry will have a good accessibility to the market. The electronic industry does not need large land and it can be located in any place that there is no high humidity, salt damage, or pollution. Therefore, it is favorable to places that can pursue integrated profits due to a congestion of related industries, including abundant labor and high accessibility to the airport.

In location conditions by regions, the land focuses on land price, land rent, available space, and possibility of future expansion. The regional conditions such as the accessibility with the producers of raw materials, spare parts, and devices, wage level, and the labor productivity like ensuring skilled workers, professional technicians, and managers have been considered.
